WORLD WE IMAGINE Part 3
The Richard Lin Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Good and Wanna Do Other Stuff Good Too
Our mission? To empower under-resourced youth through literacy, life skills, and confidence-building programs—so they can not only read good, but also do other stuff good too.
Why I’m Passionate:
As a first generation college student who lived in a rural area, I had access to poor education, in which the average SAT score in my high school was 900 total, I want to find a way to better recreate an education system that teaches and builds a foundation on online learning, using AI to create a stronger education, and helping kids navigate and be creative with their goals. I’ve met too many young people who are intelligent, creative, and full of potential; but get left behind because they struggle with technology literacy or never had the opportunity to develop practical life skills. I believe everyone deserves the tools to not just survive, but thrive.
What Makes Us Unique:
We’re not just a reading center: we’re an empowerment hub. Think literacy meets confidence coaching, entrepreneurship bootcamps, art therapy, and coding basics, all under one roof with an emphasis on online technology (unlike traditional centers like Kumon). We want kids to leave our center knowing how to use ChatGPT, create new models, and ultimately find creative solutions to enhance their own knowledge and education.
We also want to bring pop culture into education to make it relatable and fun, because kids these days love IShowSpeed, Adin Ross, Kendrick Lamar, and last but not least, LeBron James. With these guest speakers, it creates not only good memories, but more ambition to chase their dreams.
Why Anima Mundi Development Partners Should Support Us:
Anima Mundi backs ventures that change the world, especially those investing in human potential. We’re building the next generation of thinkers, makers, innovators, and leaders by starting at the root: reading, writing, and real-world confidence. This is a high-impact, scalable model that can change outcomes for generations to come.
We don’t just dream of a better world: we’re teaching kids how to build it.
